Today, I will likely lose some readers. I do not chase popularity; my blog is more for the soul and to enrich Ukrainian content, not for profit or fame. So, if this doesn’t suit you — goodbye.
Critical Moments in Life
On January 22, 2014, I stood on Maidan amid smoke and chaos, feeling like a stranger. It was not my war. My body was there, but my soul seemed somewhere beyond space and time. Pain and injustice tore me apart, yet inside I felt pacifism and perfectionism. I did not feel fear, though I should have — I sensed it would not affect me. It was something karmic, personal, something shared by many Ukrainians.
Merging Pain and Wholeness
Now, after the presidential elections, I feel an inner pain that fills my entire being — a sign that I no longer divide myself into parts. I have matured, and this wholeness gives new meaning to my life. This is especially evident through motherhood.
The Role of Parents in Shaping the Future
Without my child, I doubt I could stay afloat. Parents hold the future in their hands; their responsibility and care are the foundation of everything. All those banal phrases about children and the future gain new meaning when you live through it personally.
Gratitude and Understanding
I am grateful for my upbringing and knowledge, even though they are a burden to the soul. We should not judge mothers who have to feed their children formula, as it is often the only option. True support is understanding, not judgment.
The Child as Strength and Light
In difficult moments, my child becomes my support — showing tenderness and patience, helping me hold on. It is he who guides me on the path of love, knowledge, and work. Motherhood is what gives me meaning and strength.
Conclusion
The future depends on us, the parents. Therefore, it is important not to lose faith, to preserve patience, and to work on ourselves. This is what creates the foundation for a better life for the next generations.
